Lindsay Miller: Director of Branded Beef - Stonyrun Farms
Lindsay is the 5th generation at Stonyrun farms. She is Loren's oldest daughter and the newest addition to the team. In the fall of 2022 Lindsay left her full time social work job to join us full-time as our Director of Branded Beef programs. Lindsay is the head of all beef sales and operations for Stonyrun Farms.
Mitchell Ruth: Owner & Herd Manager – Stonyrun Farms
Mitchell is the 5th generation at Stonyrun Farms. He studied dairy science at Cornell University and graduated in 2015. The 1st five years after graduating from college Mitchell managed a dairy herd.
He currently manages the Wagyu herd at Stonyrun Farms. Mitchell is passionate about bringing new and cutting edge agriculture technology to Stonyrun Farms, then utilizing it to make Stonyrun Farms a more profitable and sustainable business.
Loren Ruth: Owner & CEO - Stonyrun Farms
Loren is the 4th generation at Stonyrun farms. He grew up working on the farm and has carried his love for farming and cattle with him throughout life. He went to college for dairy and still owns and breeds Jersey dairy cattle through a partnership in Australia.
He currently acts as the Stonyrun Farms CEO and is integral in all aspects of the farm and beef business.
John Belkot: Stonyrun Farms

Whole animal butcher
John is conservatory trained and an award winning composer turned creative. His medium is food and traditional artisan butchery.
John’s journey began 20 years ago, starting out as a BBQ enthusiast and working in some of Baltimore’s top restaurants whilst teaching music and pursuing multiple degrees from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.
In 2018, John made the switch to butchery full-time, first apprenticing under butchers with over 75 years of experience, and then as head butcher and protein manager at a successful butcher & market near Reading, PA.
